Solutions / Research

Give an idea
a closer look.

Build a decision from sources, comparisons, and open questions that another teammate can examine.

ResearcherReviewer

A brief you can adapt

Compare three approaches to improving our onboarding. Use sources with links and dates. Separate observations from assumptions, identify unanswered questions, and ask a second teammate to challenge the recommendation before preparing a decision memo.

Illustrative workflow · no completed run is implied

  1. Frame the decision.

State the audience, the options you want compared, and the constraints. Tell the team which questions need an answer and which are outside scope.

  2. Keep the evidence.

Ask the researcher to save source links, access dates, and notes in the project. Mark inaccessible or incomplete sources instead of filling in missing details.

  3. Challenge the conclusion.

Have a reviewer check key citations, look for conflicting evidence, and explain what would change the recommendation.

The handoff

Ask for something
you can inspect.

  • A concise decision memo
  • Source links and dated notes
  • A comparison against your criteria
  • Assumptions and open questions

Keep the question bounded.

“Find everything about this market” is hard to finish or review. “Compare these three approaches against these five criteria” gives the team a clear scope and makes missing evidence easier to spot.
