Product / Model connections
Connect a supported model provider and choose the model your agents use for their work.
A practical starting point
Use the app’s model or account settings for a supported connection. Keep credentials in those settings, not in a shared project brief or agent conversation.
Confirm that the provider account has credit or capacity and the selected model is available. A familiar model name does not guarantee access from every account.
Ask for a narrow result, inspect it, and check usage. Compare quality and cost on work that resembles what you actually want the agent to do.
Put it into practice
A builder, reviewer, and coordinator may have different needs. Choose a connection for the role, then look at whether it follows instructions, uses the available tools, communicates blockers, and produces a reviewable result.
The website shows illustrative model connections. OpenRouter can provide access to its available catalog; direct connections depend on what the current app build supports. Check the options in the app rather than assuming any model can be connected.
Provider availability, rate limits, prices, and data policies can change. Consult the provider’s current documentation and billing controls before assigning substantial work.
